Copper wiring stolen in Ethel
Copper wiring from a house in Ethel was stolen on Sunday, Attala County Sheriff William Lee said.
Ranoy Herring reported that his Henley Street home was missing some copper wiring from the circuit box in the attic.
There are no suspects at this time.
Break-in
The ACSD responded to an alarm going off at Mr. Pick’s Grocery on Highway 35 South.
Nothing was reported stolen but a surveillance video showed two people in black bulky clothing in the store, Lee said.
There are suspects in this case.
Assault
William Bell reported he was assaulted by Brandon Chamblee at Ford’s Grocery on Highway 35 South near the Attala/Leake County Line on May 25.
No charges have been filed.
