Bad money orders lead to arrest

Missing funds led to the arrest of a Kosciusko man on Monday.

Kosciusko Police Chief R.J. Adams said John Aden Rasberry, 37, was charged with the misdemeanor of false pretenses.

Rasberry allegedly took fraudulent money orders that he obtained from the mail to a local bank, Adams said.

The money orders were worth several thousand dollars.

Adams said Rasberry profited several hundred dollars.
