Fredrick Miller, 46, was taken into Kosciusko Police Department custody on Friday.
Miller is charged with taking a pork loin from Sunflower No. 11 as well as public drunk and resisting arrest.
In other arrests:
– Andrew Paul Washington, 31, was charged with loud noise, public drunk and possession of paraphernalia Monday on Weatherly Street.
– Van Ora Edmonson Jr., 26, was charged with no driver’s license at a checkpoint on Valley Road Sunday. Others charged at the check point were: Davon Renard Hull, 29, for no driver’s license and Jeffery Hill, 23, suspended driver’s license.
– At a check point on East North Street Sunday, Lawrence Griffin, 75, was charged with first offence driving under the influence and Berlinda Ward, 41, was charged with no driver’s license and child restraint.
– Kristina Marie McCool, 22, was charged with suspended driver’s license and first offense driving under the influence Saturday on North Natchez Street.
– John L. Hall III, 29, was charged with suspended driver’s license on Gilliand Street.
– Twylia Bolton, 30, was charged with speeding, suspended driver’s license and no insurance on West South Street Friday.
– Andres Alfredo, 22, was charged with no driver’s license and first offense driving under the influence on Highway 43 North Friday.

Sniper rifle purchased for KPD
At the request of Kosciusko Police Chief R.J. Adams, the Kosciusko Board of Aldermen approved the purchase of a sniper rifle for the department during the May 1 board meeting.
