Regional track meets today
At least five area high school track teams will be taking part in their regional events today.
Kosciusko will take part in a MHSAA Class 4A Regional at Pearl High School, while McAdams, Ethel, Durant and Weir are set to visit Winona for a Class 1A Regional.
The top four finishers in each event will advance to North/South State meets.
Two Kosy standouts to watch are 400-meter man Earl Winters and Cary Dotson in the boys high jump.
The McAdams boys won the District 6-1A meet last week at Winona.

The newspaper will recognize Central Mississippi’s Woman of the Year in a special “Working Women” edition coming at the end of September.
