Two automobile wrecks and one on a motorcycle were reported by the Attala County Sheriff’s Department.
On June 2, an accident occurred when a truck ran off Attala County Road 5210 and struck a tree.
Two brothers, both minors, were in the vehicle. The youngest was thrown from the truck, was taken to Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital and airlifted to a Jackson hospital.
Sheriff William Lee said the youngster is now back at home and is doing well.
Lee added that Deputy James Falkner, who was off duty, rode up on the wreck and both, he and his wife, were able to help.
On June 5, Tom Miller dropped something on the floor of his GMC truck and ran off Knox Road, striking a fence.
Lee said Miller was taken to MJMH, was treated and released.
On June 6, Thomas E. Clark Jr. wrecked his motorcycle on Munson Crossing. Lee said he was injured but OK.
The Star-Herald does not release the names of minors.
