Alcohol-type charges highlight arrest report

KOSCIUSKO — The Kosciusko Police Department reports the following arrests:

On Tuesday, Stephen Dewayne Hutchison, 35, was arrested for failure to stop motor vehicle when officer signals at Woodberry Apartments by Sgt. Herbert Dew.

On Sunday, Allen Leroy Taylor, 18, was arrested for no tag, no proof of insurance, no driver’s license, and possession of marijuana in a vehicle on North Street by Cpl. Danny Groves.

On Saturday, Kisha Marie Collins, 29, was arrested for domestic violence (simple assault) at Glendale Apartments by officer Maurice Hawthorne.

On Saturday, Gamila Truss, 33, was arrested for contempt of court on North Natchez Street by Officer Bradley Fancher.

On Saturday, Mark Pettit Atwood Jr., 29, was arrested for driving under the influence and open container on South Street by Groves.

On Saturday,  Lindsey D. Gove Rigby, 26, was arrested for open container on South Street by Cpl. Danny Groves

On Friday, Donald Dawson, 27, was arrested for no driver’s license on Peachtree Street by Cpl. Danny Groves.

On Friday, Juan Carlos Gomez-Valdez, 29, was arrested for no driver’s license and disregard for traffic device on Highway 35 South by Hawthorne.

On November 22, Drevonte Barnes, 22, was arrested for public profanity, public drunkenness and resisting arrest on South East Street by Sgt. Herbert Dew.

On November 22, James Alvin Dickerson, 39, was arrested for suspended driver’s license, no proof of insurance, and speeding on Hwy 35 North by Officer Jimmy Evans.

On November 21, Travis Hall, 30, was arrested for possession of controlled substance (misdemeanor) and contempt of court on Highway 12 East by Evans.

On November 19, Ali Abdo Ghazi, 54, was arrested for sale of alcoholic beverage to a minor and sale of alcoholic beverage after hours at Adams Grocery by officer Greg Collins.

On November 19, James Shannon Love, 37, was arrested for possession of marijuana (misdemeanor) on Highway 35 South by Fancher.
