KOSCIUSKO —
J.C. Blaylock, 70, of Kosciusko, passed away Aug. 15, 2012. He was a retired contractor.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 17, at 2 p.m. at Southern Funeral Home in Durant with burial in Bowlin Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 17, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Mr. Blaylock was a member and an active deacon at Bowlin Baptist Church. He was a friend to all and never met a stranger. He loved all of his family, and his granddaughter, Anna Claire, was his heart.
He was preceded in death by his father, Avery Blaylock; his mother, Annis Craft; his brothers, Allen Blaylock, Joe Earl Blaylock, and Charlie Blaylock.
He is survived by his wife, Gwynda Blaylock; son, Scott (Kelli) Blaylock; granddaughter, Anna Claire Blaylock of Kosciusko. He is also survived by sisters, Pearl Wells and Francs Mitchell of Kosciusko; brothers, William Blaylock of Kosciusko, Eugene Blaylock and James Blaylock of Corbin, KY; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Rev. Daniel Blaylock and Rev. Larry Odom will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Chris Self, Steven Allen, Glen Blanton, Paul Blaylock, David Blaylock, and Ronnie Cochran.
