Doris R. Cook, 96, of the Barnes Community, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2010 at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital.
Visitation is Friday, Oct. 12, 6-9 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 13, at 11 a.m. at Rocky Point Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Johnny Parks and Rev. Don Cook will officiate.
Until her death, she was the oldest living member of Rocky Point Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Frankie Cook (Lailon) Dorsey of Kosciusko; son, Paul Clayton (Linda) Cook of Kosciusko; grandchildren, April D. (Bill) Benham of Omaha, NE, and Ashley (Mary) Dorsey of Kosciusko; great-grandchildren, Olivia Claire and Ethan Matthew Benham.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clay Cook; sister, Lois Ray Jenkins and her parents, Frank A. and Janie Ray.
