KOSCIUSKO —
Graveside services for William T. “Bill” Hood Jr., 62, of Kosciusko were held Tuesday, July 20, at 3 p.m. at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Lexington.
Hood, a retired farmer, died July 17, 2010 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Sybil Hodges Hood of Kosciusko; sons, Pat (Crystal) Hood and Howard (Jessica) Hood, both of Pickens, and their mother, Ann Hood of Ridgeland; step son, Gabe Taylor and stepdaughter Kennon Taylor, both of Kosciusko; a brother, Mike Hood of Ebenezer; sisters, Bobbie Glover of Tuscaloosa, AL, Pat Maddux and Kathy McClellan, both of Lexington, and Toni Miles of Morton; seven grandchildren.
Rev. Jerry Meggs officiated.
Pallbearers were Trey Taylor, Aubrey Johnson Jr., Hampton Jones, Mike Johnson, Trent Johnson and Robert Wayne Carnathan.
Honorary pallbearers were Richard Davis, Jeff Martin and Herbert Hodges.
Southern Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
