Connie H. Burchfield, 89, of Madison, formerly of Ethel, passed away Oct. 31, 2012.
Services will be held Friday, Nov. 2, at 2 p.m. at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Stonewall Cemetery.
Mrs. Burchfield was former owner of Hilltop Grocery in Ethel and she was a member of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Elmo Burchfield; son, Melvin Burchfield Jr.; daughter, Carol Stuart; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Branch Burchfield; parents. W.T. (Turnage) and Virgie Lawrence Horne.
She is survived by son, Michael Burchfield; son-in-law, Stanley Stuart; grandchildren Brooke, Brittney and Blake Burchfield, Stephanie (Rick) Hinton and Clay (Tammy) Stuart; great-grandchildren Shelby, Tanner and Callie Grace.
Pallbearers are Kenny Horne, Tim Horne, Jeff Horne, Blake Burchfield, Ralph Rone Jr. and Gene Horn.
Rev. Keith Douden will officiate.
