KOSCIUSKO —

Mrs. Estella Ables, 94, of Sallis passed away Aug. 14, 2012.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m. at Sallis Baptist Church with burial in Dickerson Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, 5-7 p.m. at Culpepper Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ables was a member of Sallis Baptist Church. She retired from Lexington Industries as a supervisor. She was a RSVP volunteer, member of the Lady Landowners, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Young at Heart of SBC, and Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur M. Ables, and parents Joe and Virgie Cochran Cain.

She is survived by sons, Jerry (Fay) Ables of Phenix City, AL, Jack (Shirley) Ables of Sallis, Arthur (Sue) Ables Jr. of Sallis, Larry (Peggy) Ables of Sallis and Paul (Faye) Ables of Sallis; sisters, Lavelle Horne and Genelle Cain; brother, John Alvin Cain; 19 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

Rev. Thomas Wicker, Rev. Gene Richardson and Rev. James Burrell will officiate.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
