KOSCIUSKO —
James Robert Pullen, 69, of McCool, a retired oil field worker, died Sunday, January 27, 2013 at University Medical Center in Jackson.
Visitation is Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Bear Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Jim Garner and Rev. Mark Mayo will officiate the services.
He was a member of Bear Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, watching baseball games, and spending time on his back porch visiting with friends. He loved his grandchildren, and they were his pride and joy.
Survivors include: his wife, Deniece Wade Pullen of McCool; sons, Kevin Pullen (Kim) of Kosciusko, Shane Pullen of Madison, Stephen Moore (Stephanie) of Union, and Wade Moore (Misty) of Kosciusko; daughters, Whitney Pettit (Hart) of Kosciusko and Stephanie Price (Ross) of Madison; 11 grandchildren; brother, Casey Pullen (Sharon) of Pearl; sister, Carol Skinner (Jimmy) of Pearl; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Casey and Jewell Bagwell Pullen.
Pallbearers are Billy Joe Oswalt, Roy Oswalt, Hayes L. Wade, III, William T. Wade, Aaron L. Wade, and Stephen G. Wade.
Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Howard, Mack Brown, Jimmy Pruitt, Wren Bell, Billy Self, Walter Perry, Herbert Willoughby, Thomas Lamar Reynolds, and Thomas Jefferson Reynolds.
