KOSCIUSKO —
Ms. L. Maude Peeler, 87, of French Camp, a retired accountant with Nichols State University in Thibodaux, LA, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the Attala County Nursing Center in Kosciusko.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Chapel Hill Cemetery with burial to follow. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Rev. Doyle Mitchell will officiate the service.
She was a member of Chapel Hill Methodist Church, a graduate of French Camp Academy, and was salutatorian of her class. After retirement, she returned home to French Camp.
Survivors include numerous cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Dale Peeler and her parents, Early and Ervie Ellen Pullin Peeler.
Pallbearers are Boyce Cook, Rickey Dees, Mitchell Dees, Happy T. Grice, Noel Godfrey, and Arlis Godfrey. Honorary pallbearers are Osman Grice, Johnny Cook, and Josh Peffers.
