Ibbie Lou Ingram
Ibbie Lou Ingram, 92, of Ethel, a housewife, died Jan. 31, 2010 at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital.
Visitation is Monday, Feb. 1, 5-8 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 2, at 11 a.m. at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Tabernacle Cemetery. Rev. Byrd Hillman will officiate.
She was a faithful charter member for 60-70 years of the Ethel Friendship Homemakers Club, and a lifetime member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church. She was also a seamstress, an avid quilter, factory worker, and a volunteer at the Natchez Trace Visitors Center. She stopped driving at the age of 90. She loved to travel and had visited Alaska, Canada, New York and Branson.
She is survived by a son, Travis Ingram and wife, Lisha of Ethel; daughters, Lynda Harvey and husband, Lacey of Morton, Vonda McKnight and husband, Tommy of Kosciusko; brother-in-law, Hubert Ingram and wife, Christine; sisters-in-law, Bessie Ray, and Lucille Hart and husband, H.F.; grandchildren, Kevin Harvey and wife, Diane, Kristen Phillips and husband, Terry, Jason McKnight, Bryan McKnight and wife, Melanie, Jared Ingram and Leslie Ingram; great-grandchildren, Justin Phillips, Makenzie Phillips, Marla and Bryson McKnight, Allison Harvey, Andrew Harvey and Amanda Harvey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Ingram; parents, George Doss and Irey Icey Rone Ray; and son, George Terry “Tadpole” Ingram.
Pallbearers are Don Hart, Gregg Ingram, Barry Ray, Bill Henning, Max Teters, and Glenn Ingram. Honorary pallbearer is Bit Belk.
Memorials may be sent to the Tabernacle Cemetery Fund.
