KOSCIUSKO — Richard Earl Brock, 71, left this world on August 7, 2012 in Pascagoula, MS.
He was a strong and admirable man who took pride in all that he did.
Richard found great joy in his family and was a tremendously caring husband and dedicated grandfather.
He leaves behind his faithful wife of 50 years, Ann (Rowell) Brock of Gautier; his daughter, Alisha Schesny and her husband Buck, of Gautier; his son, Paul Brock and his wife Kristen, of Hattiesburg; six grandchildren, Sky, Jessica, Alex, Colin, Noah and Andrew; three sisters, Sue, Nina, and Glenda Ann; and many loving family and friends.
Born August 20, 1940 and raised in Kosciusko, MS, Richard lived his adult life in Gautier on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
He proudly served his country from 1959-1961. After his time in the Army, Richard had a 38-year career as a machinist at Ingalls Shipyard in Pascagoula.
After retirement, Mr. Brock enjoyed life with his loving wife and carried a passion for gardening and cooking.
A service celebrating Richard's life will be held at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 10.
