KOSCIUSKO —
James D. Swinney, 78, of Kosciusko died Oct. 13, 2012 at his home.
He was born Sept. 27, 1934 to Samuel A. and Sara Nevel Swinney. He was employed with the Federal Government and was a member of Springdale Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, Oct. 18, at 3 p.m. at Parkway Cemetery with Jordan Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, S.E. Swinney and William Verb Swinney.
He is survived by his wife, Lucy B. Swinney of Kosciusko; sons, Jon R. Swinney of Kosciusko and Carlos Andrew Swinney of Willits, CA; grandchildren, Maggie Lamar (Beau) Stephens of CA, Nigel Andrew Swinney of CA, Jessica Marie Swinney, Victoria Ann Swinney, Robert Sean Swinney, Molly Josephine Swinney, James Joseph Swinney, Mary Elizabeth Swinney and Samuel Thomas Swinney all of Kosciusko.
