Joseph William Lindsey, 65, of Bowling Green, KY died at his residence on March 6, 2013 after a lengthy illness.
Visitation will be Friday, 5-8 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home and on Saturday, March 9, from 2-4 p.m. at Carson Ridge Baptist Church near Ethel
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at Carson Ridge Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Rev. Dwayne Cole will officiate.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Watts Lindsey of Bowling Green, KY; daughter, Darlene Lindsey Lemay and husband, Robert of Franklin, KY; seven granddaughters, Brittany, Jessica, Courtney, Lindsey, Leslie, Jazzmine, and Faith, all of Kentucky and one grandson, Morgan of Yokosuka, Japan; 12 great-grandchildren, all of Kentucky; sister, Aline Russell and husband, Richard of Kosciusko; brother, John Lindsey of Vaiden; several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Willie Mae Miller Lindsey; daughter, Judy Lynn; son, Jeffrey; grandson, Justin; three sisters, Beatrice Watkins, Kate Tullos, and Jessie Lee; brothers, Frank Lindsey and James Lindsey.
