William Ralph Muirhead

William Ralph Muirhead, 76, a resident of Vaiden,

died February 10, 2008 at Monfort-Jones Memorial

Hospital in Kosciusko. Funeral services will be held

at 11 a.m. February 16, at Shiloh Independent Methodist Church in Carmack.

Rev. George Felts will officiate. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton is in charge of arrangments.

Mr. Muirhead was a carpenter and worked in the construction industry for over 40 years. He was a member of Shiloh Independent Methodist Church in Carmack. He served his country with great pride and was a Korean War Veteran.

Mr. Muirhead was preceded in death by his parents,

William Wyley Muirhead and Vernie Ruth Muirhead; son,

Gerald Muirhead; former wife, Martha Muirhead; sister,

Anna Lea Murphy, Winifred Ruth Kelly and Ann Muirhead.

Mr. Muirhead is survived by his wife, Mary Betty

Muirhead of Vaiden; sons, William Louis (Berdie)

of Philadelphia; John Nicholas (Betty) Muirhead of

Forest; Jerry Dale (Beth) Muirhead of Philadelphia; Kevin Spears of Vaiden; Wesley Ray (Michelle) Muirhead of Kosciusko; daughters Dianna Muirhead of San Diego, Calif.; Cynthia Hommas of Byram; sister, Allice (Louis) Baker of Grenada; 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, many

nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Pallbearers are John Smallwood, William Louis Muirhead, John Nicholas Muirhead, Jerry Dale Muirhead, Wesley Ray Muirhead, and J. T. Bruce. Honorary pallbearer is Kevin Spears.
