Services for Robert Lee Williams, 79, of Kosciusko were held June 20 at 2 p.m. at Christian Liberty M.B. Church with burial in Parkway Cemetery.
Williams, a factory worker, died June 17, 2009 at Hospice Ministries. He was a native of Sallis and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Earlee Flanagan Williams; daughters Isalonia (Roosevelt) Fletcher, Margaret (Will) Winters, Verlynuette Williams, all of Kosciusko; sons, William (Mildred) Flanagan of Texas, Roy (Ruby) Williams, Joe (Kim) Williams and Alex Williams all of Kosciusko; sisters, Mary Shadwick of Sallis, Magnolia Harvey of Kosciusko and Daisey Guyton of Chicago; a brother, J.C. Williams of Milwaukee, Wis.; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Sallye Flanagan and Nellie (Howard) Mitchell; a special friend of the family, Margaret Nash; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Rev Eddie Carr officiated with Myricks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Jonathan Williams, J.C. Ferguson, Terrell Williams, Larry Brown, James Roby, Roosevelt Fletcher.
Honorary pallbearers were Joe Williams, Alex Williams, Roy Williams, William Flanagan, and J.C. Williams.
