Graveside funeral services for Harry Doyle Mayo of Ethel were at 3 p.m. Saturday,

November 24, 2012 at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery at Duck Hill, with Rev. Tim Lane officiating.

Mr. Mayo died of heart failure at University Medical Center in Jackson on November 21, 2012 He was 65 years old. He was the son of the late William Wesley and Nellie McDaniel Mayo. He was a self-employed building contractor and a member of Harmony Baptist Church at McCool.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Tommie Chunn and Lorrine Johnson; and a brother, Ralph Mayo.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Dianne Parker Mayo of Ethel; two daughters, Stephanie Pearson of Duck Hill and her fiance, Tony Breazeale, and Felicia Mayo of Grenada and her fiance, Sam Melton; one brother, Charles Lamar Mayo and wife, Nancy, of Pearl; three grandchildren, Faith Patience Ford, Chance Daniel Ford, Amanda Eden Parker; eight sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Chance Ford, Tony Breazeale, Craig Parker, Sam Melton, Johnny Mayo, and Danny Adams. Honorary pallbearers were Larry Pee, Hubert Burkes, Ronnie Bain, Billy Clark, William "Kim" Carter, Billy Carter, Dr. Kenneth Quick, and Bro. Tommy Allen.
