We, at The Star-Herald, are proud of the effort set forth by the community to make this year’s Safety Parade a great event for children.
Without local businesses candy contributions and the Mayor’s Youth Council directing traffic, the event would not be possible.
This year we spied colorful cartoon board cut-outs placed around the Square for children to have their picture made and a clown in the gazebo giving away balloons. We don’t know who added these special additions but we thank you.
The Star-Herald is looking forward to the 22nd Annual Safety Parade next year and we hope you are too!
