The Ackerman Indians hosted the Williams-Sullivan Yellowjackets in a Region 2-2A contest and came away with a 40-0 victory.
The Indians improved to 6-2 overall and 2-0 in region play while the Yellowjackets fell to 2-6 and 0-2.
The Indians led the Yellowjackets 7-0 after one quarter of play and took a 20-0 lead into the half.
The Indians got on the board two more times in the third quarter to take a 34-0 lead into the fourth.
Ackerman was able to tack on another touchdown in the fourth, conversion failed, to push the final score to 40-0.
Offensively, the Indians were led by quarterback Dakota Brasher who completed four of five passes for 198 yards and one touchdown.
Jamarcus Bradley had seven carries for 49 yards while Alex Foust carried the ball three times for 35 yards.
T. C. Hatchett had two receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown and Quinton Lane had one catch for 62 yards and a touchdown.
Lane also returned a kick 78 yards for another touchdown.
Defensively Anquan Smith led the Indians with five tackles while Lenny Taylor, Foust and Bonnes Brown each collected four tackles, with Brown collecting two sacks as well. The Indians will travel to Eupora Friday night to take on the Eagles in a key Region 2-2A contest with kickoff at 7 p.m.
Williams-Sullivan will travel to Maben to take on Region 2-2A foe East Webster, game time 7p.m. as well.
