HATTIESBURG —
Walker Yuille blasted a two-run homer in the bottom of the fifth inning to propel Kosciusko to an 8-6 win over Laurel-Jones County in a winners bracket game in the Dixie Youth 10-year-old State Tournament.
Kosy beat Pascagoula 7-3 on Saturday, then had a bye on Sunday going into Monday's contest against Laurel-Jones County in the nine-team, double-elimination tournament.
Kosciusko is now set to take on Pascagoula at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
