KOSCIUSKO —
2013 will be interesting, if you look at it from an alphabetical standpoint.
A is for I ‘Am’ going to do better in whatever it is I choose that I need to work on, which is a lot of stuff.
B is for ‘Bring’ it on–you know when you’re taunting the other team or someone in line with you at Wal-Mart.
C is for ‘Catch’ in that I would like to finally catch an eight-pound bass this year.
D is for you need to watch more ‘Duck Dynasty’, that’s some good stuff.
E is for not raggin’ your Bulldog brethren too bad about the ‘Egg Bowl.’
F is for ‘Finding Bigfoot’–yes, that show is still on.
G is for ‘Greatness’, and I hope all of our local teams achieve it.
H is for ‘Hang’ in there on the curve ball, take it the other way.
I is for ‘Intimidate’ your opponent with your excellence.
J is for ‘Juicy Fruit’, because I’m not sure what fruit that is.
K is for ‘Kosy’ not cozy, come on people from other places.
L is for ‘Line drive’–let’s hit a lot of them this spring.
M is for ‘Make’ a difference in someone’s life–you can do it.
N is for ‘Never’ let them see you sweat, really–they make stuff for that.
O is for let’s get ‘Outside’ more, that’s where it’s happening.
P is for ‘Punt’ and I would like to see our local teams do less of this year.
Q is for ‘Quit’ complaining and do something about it.
R is for ‘Relay’ for Life and the good it brings.
S is for ‘Slow’ down people and listen to your kids, they are pretty cool you know.
T is for ‘Try’ to go to every game that’s being played locally, these kids are working hard.
U is for saying ‘Us’ or we instead of I, I, I.
V is for the many ‘Victories’ that our local schools will enjoy on the field this year.
W is for not forgetting the ‘Work’ our student athletes and coaches put in as they strive for greatness on the field and in the classroom.
X is for the ‘eXtreme’ effort that is needed to win every game.
Y is for let’s not forget the ‘Youth’ of our local athletes when they miss a shot, throw an interception or strike out.
And finally Z, or maybe not, because it was not ‘eaZy’ to find something for Z. I hope everyone has a great and safe 2013 and may all of our teams be successful between the lines.
