The Ethel Tigers hosted the Noxapater Tigers last Tuesday night and lost the Region 5-1A contest 56-36.
Ethel outscored the visiting Tigers 13-12 in the first quarter, but Noxapater shut the door in the second quarter and took a 27-22 lead into the half.
Noxapater pulled away in the third quarter by outscoring Ethel 22-10 and now led the contest 49-32 to start the fourth.
Noxapater would edge the Ethel Tigers in fourth quarter 7-4 to claim a 56-36 region win. The Ethel Tigers will travel to Weir Friday night for a 6 p.m. contest.
