HATTIESBURG — Laurel-Jones County defeated previously undefeated Kosciusko twice on Wednesday night to win the Dixie Youth AAA State Tournament and a spot in the World Series in Gonzalez, La.
Laurel defeated Kosy 14-12 in the first game, then scored a run in the bottom of the sixth in the second game to take a 12-11 victory.
