BOGUE CHITTO —
The Lady Tigers traveled to Bogue Chitto last Monday night to take on the Lady Bobcats in a Class 1A South State Tourney play-in game.
The Lady Tigers lost the contest 58-42 and ended their 2012-13 season.
The Lady Tigers immediately jumped on the Lady Bobcats in the first quarter and led 10-2 to start the second.
The Lady Bobcats turned the tables in the second quarter by outscoring the Lady Tigers 16-2 to take an 18-12 lead into the half.
The Lady Bobcats never looked back from this point and again outscored the Lady Tigers in the third quarter 19-15 to take a 37-27 lead into the game’s final quarter.
The Lady Bobcats ran away with the contest in the fourth quarter by outscoring the Lady Tigers 21-15 to push the final score to 58-42.
The leading scorers for the Lady Tigers were GreAna Davis with 10 points, Tajeah Campbell as well as Myiesha Reynolds with nine points each, Tamara Riley with seven points and Kayla Greer with three points.
With the victory, Bogue Chitto advanced to the Class 1A South State Tournament and ended the season for the Lady Tigers.
