The Ackerman Indians traveled to West Bolivar last Friday night in the second round of the Class 2A Playoffs and lost the contest 37-15 to the Eagles.
The Indians finish the 2012 campaign with a 9-4 record.
The Eagles scored once in the first quarter and led 6-0 as the second quarter started.
The Indians were able to get on the board in the second quarter with a touchdown, PAT good, but the Eagles would score once again to take a 12-7 lead into the half.
The Indians got on the board in the third quarter with a safety but the Eagles scored twice, with one successful PAT, and led 25-9 to start the fourth.
The Indians would find the end zone once in the fourth quarter, PAT unsuccessful, but could not keep the West Bolivar Eagles from scoring two more times to push the final score to 37-15.
The Indians gave up 583 yards of total offense to the Eagles and turned the ball over three times on two fumbles and one interception.
West Bolivar will travel to Bruce Friday night to take on the Trojans for a spot in the 1A-North State title game.
