The Ethel Tigers hosted the French Camp Panthers last Tuesday night and dropped the Region 5 contest 69-53.
The Panthers came out of the gate aggressive and outscored the Tigers 20-12 in the first quarter.
The Tigers were able to score 19 points in the second quarter but the Panthers scored 20 and led 40-31 at the half.
The Panthers put the game away in the third quarter when they outscored the host team 24-8 to take a 64-39 lead into the fourth quarter.
The Tigers would outscore the Panthers in the third quarter, but the damage had been done. The Panthers won the contest 69-53.
The Tigers hosted West Lowndes Tuesday night and will travel to Columbus to take on West Lowndes once again next Tuesday night.
The Panthers hosted Noxapater Tuesday night and will host Weir Friday night at 5 p.m.
