Whippets lose three during break
The Kosciusko Whippets played Grenada last Tuesday in the Winona Tournament and lost the contest 10-4.
Kosy then traveled to Meridian for another invitational tournament on Wednesday and fell to Newton County 6-5 and Quitman 6-3. -
Tigers go 1-2 during break
The Ethel Tigers traveled to Meridian over spring break holidays and played three games. The Tigers took on Scott Central and Forest last Tuesday, defeating Scott Central 11-3 before falling to Forest 15-9, and finished up with Simpson Academy on Wednesday, losing 4-0 pushing their season record to 7-5.

Holden Singletary and Austin Terrell will both get a chance to continue their golfing careers at Meridian Community College after both recently signed national letters of intent with the Eagles.

The Ethel Tiger baseball team moved to 6-3 on the year with victories over French Camp and Noxapater, 12-0 and 11-3 respectively last Monday and Saturday.

The Lady Whippets played six ball games last week, winning five to push their season record to 7-3.

Whippets up record to 7-2 on week
The Kosciusko Whippets hosted the Noxubee County Tigers last Tuesday and won the contest 12-1.
The Whippets traveled to Macon on Friday for another game with Noxubee County and won this one as well, 16-0. -
