Michael Cleveland "Bucky" Bell, Jr. and Catherine Grace Bryant were married at 4 p.m. March 13, 2010, at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Vicksburg. The bride's uncle, the Rev. James Young of Sallis, officiated the double-ring ceremony.
he bride is the daughter of Cecil and Carolyn Bryant of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Percy DeWitt Young of Thomastown, and Mrs. Wilma Tadlock Bryant and the late Mr. Albert Edward Bryant of Kosciusko.
The groom is the son of Mike and Brenda Bell of Starkville and grandson of the late Mrs. Lorita Parris Tumey of Eupora, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Willard Cleveland Bell of Starkville.
Classic and traditional selections were performed by Shelia Hess, organist; Rhonda Lyle, pianist; Ginger Bryant Bennett, Janet Dutro, and Alan Dutro, soloists.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a designer gown that draped the shoulders featuring a beaded lace bodice and cathedral train. The bride wore diamond earrings and a diamond drop pendant that was made from her maternal grandmother's engagement ring.
Maid of honor was Holly Nicole Ray of Birmingham, AL. Bridesmaids were Leslie Nicole Bell of Nashville, TN; Liza Leak Bryant of The Woodlands, TX; Julia Rebecca Bryant of Oxford; Kimberly Ann Dowe of Vicksburg; Lauren Burns Jackson of Muscle Shoals, AL; Robin Bryant Pee of Sallis; and Susan Whittenberg of Vicksburg.
The flower girl was Evelyn Catherine Bryant of The Woodlands, TX.
The groom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Wesley Black of Ridgeland; Clinton Bryant of The Woodlands, TX; Bartley Harris of Tupelo; William King of Homewood, AL; William Prosser of Starkville; Kyle Skinner of Starkville; and Mitchell Stroud of San Diego, CA. The Junior Groomsman was Collins Bryant of The Woodlands, TX.
