KOSCIUSKO —
Danny and Diane Doty of Ethel are pleased to announce the marriage of their son, Samuel Burns Doty, to Jamie Lynn Hicks, daughter of Pam and Jim Hicks of Lexington.
Wedding vows were exchanged in a private ceremony in Lexington.
Sam, a graduate of Ethel High School and Holmes Community College, is serving in the United States Air Force at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas, and will continue his training as a firefighter at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, Texas.
Sam is the grandson of the late Lema and Clyde Doty of Ethel and Doris Foshee and the late Bobby Foshee of Murfreesboro, Arkansas.
Jamie, a graduate of Citizens High School, is a senior at Mississippi University for Women and will graduate in May with a BS degree. She is currently employed at Watkins, Ward, and Stafford in West Point.
Jamie is the granddaughter of Anna Lynn Autry and the late Floyd Autry of Lexington, and Charlie Hicks and the late Minnie Etta Hicks of Thaxton.
