Abigail Lea Jenkins, formerly of Sallis, and Eric David Dearman, of Carriere, were married, among friends and family, at 3 p.m., on October 10 on the beach in Pensacola, Florida.
The bride’s cousin, Andi Boyd, of San Marcus, Texas, served as matron of honor. The groom’s brother, Jarrod Dearman, of Hattiesburg, was best man. Abi was given in marriage by her uncle Buddy McKay, of Abilene, Texas.
The wedding reception was at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Pensacola.
Abi is the daughter of the late Rev. Andy John and the late Linda Etheridge Jenkins. She is the granddaughter of the late Claude and late Rev. Mildred Jenkins, Ada Lee Ethridge Huff, of Brookhaven, and the late Rev. Emerson Ethridge.
The groom’s parents are James Dearman, Jr., of Carriere, and Suzanne Wicks, of Ceasar. Eric’s grandparents are Jean Spiers of Picayune, the late Robert Spiers, the late James Dearman, Sr., and the late Jessie Mae Dearman.
Abi Dearman is a 2006 Master’s of Speech-Language Pathology graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and is employed as a Speech Therapist, with Amedisys Home Health.
Eric Dearman is a 2006 Bachelor's of Geological Science graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and is employed as a geologist, with 3001, a Northrop Grumman Company.
The Dearmans are living in Carriere.
