Alleged shooter held without bond

KOSCIUSKO — A preliminary hearing for the man accused of murder has been set for October 3.

Markeith Fleming, 21, was charged in the drive-by shooting that resulted in the death of Christopher Graham on Attala County Road 4202 September 1.

Graham was pronounced dead at the scene.

Derrick Hannah was critically wounded and is still at University Medical Center in Jackson.

More charges are pending and an assault rifle was used in the crime.

Bond was denied for Fleming and he remains in the Attala County Jail.

The Attala County Sheriff’s Department along with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and the Mississippi Crime Lab are working on the case.
