KOSCIUSKO — Good morning Attala Countians! Today, there will be islolated thunderstorms with highs in the upper 80s. Lows will be in the upper 60s.

Community Events

Democratic meeting – The Attala County Democratic executive committee will meet at the Attala County Library Saturday at 9 a.m. All who wish to be active in the

Democratic Party in Mississippi are encouraged to participate.

Purple Heart meeting -- Chapter 677 Carthage Memorial of the Military Order of the Purple Heart of the USA will meet Saturday at noon at the Rustic Kitchen, located at the intersection of Hwy. 25 and Hwy. 35, Carthage. All Purple Heart recipients from the area are invited to attend. For additional information call 601-650-8602 or 601-267-9298.

Ethel Baptist VBS – Vacation Bible School is the final day for activities. VBS is from  9 a.m. until noon, at Ethel Baptist Church for ages three through sixth grade.

Revival services – Revival services conclude tonight  at 7:30 p.m. at Little Hill M.B. Church. Rev. Cleotis Woods will be the speaker.

Doty Springs Baptist VBS – Doty Springs Baptist Church will hold the final day of Vacation Bible School at 6:30.  Theme will be "Amazing Wonder Aviation."  The church is located between Kosciusko and Louisville just off Hwy 14E.
