Clark not running for school board; Dees seeks re-election

KOSCIUSKO — Longtime Attala County School Board Member and Secretary Mack Willie Clark will not seek another term in District 4.

Clark, a retired teacher and coach, has been on the board for several terms.

There is only one candidate on the ballot, Vernita Rayford.

Rusty Dees, school board member for District 3, is unopposed and will go back into office for another  term.

The last day to qualify for the November election was September 7.
