Ready, set, go: EHS takes breakfast bowl trophy; MHS performs rap during week�s events

Following the National Breakfast Week theme, �Ready, Set, Go,� all four Attala County Schools held events during March 8-12.

McAdams High School and Ethel High School participated in the Breakfast Bowl Challenge with the winner receiving a trophy.

Ethel claimed the trophy on Friday, serving more students breakfast than McAdams.

McAdams marked the event with a rap contest in the cafeteria decorated with a banner drawn by Jahari Kilbert, an 11th grade student. He was presented a gift by Martha Jones, Thelma Lewis and Mary Greer, the cafeteria staff.

Winner of the rap contest with �Eat Your Breakfast� was Country Boyz, made up of Michael Williams, Curtis Witt and Jamarius Lewis. Also competing was Imperfect Perfection composed of Olivia Teague, Davada Newell and Janeisha Lewis, who rapped to �Everybody Help Somebody.�
