New Year

Well, 2016 is going out swiftly.  I suspect that as we get older, time has a way time has a way of moving quickly. Now it seems the week just starts and it is another week.






Holiday traditions

It is officially Christmastime for us. This weekend we will get a live tree, fire up the Christmas music and light up the fireplace mantel. The celebrations are still special, but more subdued since our folks passed on.







Winter prep

Last weekend Jilda and I did our winter chores.  We had a long list we wanted to complete before Thanksgiving Day. We had invited family and friends over for “Turkey Day,” and we wanted to make sure the house looked nice.


Deer Season

Run fast little deer; hide so deep in the undergrowth that a man in camo and bright orange vest cannot possibly find you or perchance see your white tail as you jump over logs and rubble.
